Before the commencement of this Act, all the licenses given by the Government of Nepal in connection with the opening of private firms must be renewed by the Government of Nepal in the manner specified under section 5 within the period specified by publishing notices in the Nepal Gazette. Licenses that are not renewed within that period will be void.
